Giving credit where credit is due!

At Batavia University there are a variety of ways in which you can earn credits in addition to enrolling in our courses. We believe that knowledge gained outside our institution is just as valid as that gained in our studies, so we do everything humanly possible to recognize and honor our students' academic achievements, both traditional and non-traditional.
We award unlimited transfer credits upon receipt of official transcripts, credit for major and elective-related work experience, credit for CLEP, DANTES and other exams, as well as credit for work experience.
We also permit our students to challenge as many exams as they wish for no additional charge beyond our super-low, one time nontraditional credit evaluation fee.
Finally, we award credit for experiential learning and life experience with no limit to the number of credits you can earn. If you can prove you have the knowledge, you earn the credits. We are interested in giving you a fair assessment of your life experience and prior learning, not trying to force you to spend money on our classes when it's clear you already have the knowledge.
Proving this will not be easy. We do not give life experience degrees away, and we carefully verify every portfolio we receive with institutions, employers and other references listed in the portfolio.
